Student Loan Repayment SAVE Plan in Jeopardy - Media Milwaukee

The Trump Administration proposed an agreement that would end the Biden Administration’s “Saving on a Valuable Education” (SAVE) Plan, according to a U.S. Department of Education press release. 


The SAVE Plan was intended to be a mass federal student loan forgiveness initiative from the Biden Administration.

Golden Globe Awards 2026: Milwaukee-Based Film 'Song Sung Blue' Receives Single Nomination  - Media Milwaukee

Golden Globe 2026 nominations have been revealed, and Song Sung Blue received little recognition after hosting its Milwaukee premiere last week. 


The only nomination that the film received was Kate Hudson for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. 


Song Sung Blue was shut out in all other categories, including Lead Actor, where Hugh Jackman could have been nominated.
