ABOUT ME
Ethan Ainley studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, majoring in Film Studies and Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies (JAMS), with a minor in Film Production and a certificate in Digital Arts & Culture.
Currently, you'll find Ethan writing for Media Milwaukee (UWM's national award-winning student website), the UWM Post (UWM's student-run newspaper) and Trill Mag (an independent, non-profit publication aiming to empower emerging youth voices in the media), as well as posting class and personal project videos on YouTube.
While pursuing his degree, Ethan is the Editor-in-Chief for the UWM Post, Program Director for Prowl Radio and a member of the Digital Arts & Culture student council.
The media and stories have made Ethan the person he is today, and he wants to make sure to fight against censorship and ensure that stories get told ethically and truthfully.
Storytelling is a vast medium which Ethan finds himself interacting with through writing, filming, documenting, reporting and capturing.
